We were asked by the Boca Raton Museum of Art in association with the Pavel Zoubok Gallery in Chelsea to design a book to accompany the exhibition “Front Line, Back Nine,” featuring the works of African American sculpture and performance artist, Charles McGill.
McGill's sculptures are made of leather taken from discarded golf bags, long considered the sport of white businessmen. He then creates works which evoke a range of dubious emotions. The book's clean design and large images allows the powerful works to take center stage.
The book (and exhibition) was very well received and the book has sold out its print run.
