I wanted to create a poster as a response to the growing unrest in the world.

I took an older painting I created over thirty years ago and re-purposed the image. I created the fractures digitally to symbolize how the perception of world peace is continuing to fracture. The tree, representing peace that was once the result of conflict, is losing its leaves and beginning to wither.

A poster design that represents peace as a result of war, but additionally warns that the growing unrest in the world can lead us down a harrowing path.
