The assignment was to pick a modern architect, and design a poster for one of their upcoming lectures. It needed to be influence from the designs of their buildings.

I built structure out of foam core and miniature to interesting parts of Daniel Leskind's buildings. From there I created multiples sketches of letters based off of his buildings. I was especially influenced by the cut outs and negative space within his buildings. It made the letters into vector images because of Lebeskind's buildings are made with crisp straight lines. Behind the letters I placed an image of a close up concrete texture I had photographed. The layout of the letters follow the different levels of his buildings.

After many critiques my professor and I were both satisfied with the result. It represents Daniel Libeskind's buildings well.
