Visuals inspired from the old Mexican Huipil tradition. The poster is illustration the connecting between human and nature. The Mexican Huipil tradition endures in many indigenous communities, if not as an everyday garment, as one for ceremonies or special occasions. Huipils can feature images of saints and deities, as well as animals rich in mythological symbolism.
Exhibited in shows at Ponce City Market Atlanta – Serenbe, Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia – Helms Bakery district Los Angeles in 2020 – and in Barcelona, Spian in spring 2021.
