The goal of Book Mate was to make a simple logo that communicated the action and enjoyment of reading a good book.
Approach
This logo underwent many different renditions to get to the final, Staring of much more simplified more information had to be added to the mark to increase its readability. even adjustments to the position of the eyes were taken into consideration.
Results
It was a success as I feel that I achieved a mark that had the symmetry that I desired along with the duality of the gaze of the mark between looking at the book and looking over the top to glance at the viewer.
