From the ground up—create an exciting con experience that is on par with San Diego’s iconic Comic Con. Studio C was challenged to help bring a national audience to New Jersey to experience the con phenomenon.
Studio C partnered with the Atlantic City Boardwalk Con (ACBC) founders to develop the entire brand experience; logo, print collateral, website, social media and email marketing strategy, website, environmental signage and overall event vernacular and tone. Drawing from the aesthetic and visual language of classic and contemporary comic books, the ACBC brand distinguishes itself by establishing common ground for convention newcomers and veterans alike. We had the honor of working with MARVEL Comic Artist Mark Brooks to help develop the core campaign visual that puts MARVEL characters in our Atlantic City, NJ Boardwalk location.
Positioned to best address its audience, the ACBC experience was enthusiastically received, drawing over 20,000 attendees its debut year. Studio C is again a proud ACBC partner and is currently involved in planning and executing Year 2, the 2016 show.
