Needing to get the word out quickly, we created a brand idea, a new brand ID and then quickly leveraged that work to develop a print ad. The ad not only needed to debut the new standalone PowerTap brand and tell the PowerTap story, but it also needed to strongly showcase key products and drive consumers online to buy. We leveraged one of their sponsored athletes at the time and built compelling imagery and bold language to reinforce the idea that PowerTap provides the truest measure of power, enabling cyclists to maximize their training.
