I created this poster for the AIGA Get Out the Vote 2020. I wanted women to see clearly that voting means freedom and we must exercise this right in every election—both national and local.
2020 marked the 100th anniversary of Women's Suffrage in the United States. Think of all the gains women have made as a result of that. Women voices were finally heard and they mattered, deciding elections and voting for candidates with their best interests in mind.
More voters, including women, voted in the 2020 Presidential election than ever in the history of the United States. This means that the average American believes their vote really does make a difference and that they believe in the democratic process to enact real change.
