Design a poster for the Historic Chester Business Association's 40th Anniversary Fall Craft Show in Chester, NJ.

We took an illustrative approach to this piece, using illustration along with custom typography in order to create a look evocative of vintage American design and craft making. We added fall and craft motifs for a nostalgic, yet pleasing design. Our goal was to design a piece that reflected the hand made quality of the crafts being displayed at the event as well as the creativity of the artists participating.

The design was a great success both in terms of pleasing our client, and in promoting the event which was very well attended. Our client was so happy with the piece that they wrote us saying "We never thought crafts could look so cool!"
