Kill screen is a conceptually driven display typeface designed as an identity system for the association Radix, a Swiss social service working with young people dealing with drug abuse. Radix has a web portal providing all the information on the damages that drug abuse can cause. The former communication guidelines always used the Pacman character as a metaphor of use and abuse of drugs in that it plays and swallows them having fun but eventually it becomes a ghost.
Kill screen was designed to embody the spirit of the arcade game in a contemporary way. Being playful, young but mindful of the serious subject matter. We introduced the Pacman and ghosts as glyphs and special characters as part of the typeface.
Kill screen is a typeface designed as an identity system for the association Radix and implemented on various media as part of this.
