For this project I teamed up with a pair of Political Science students and created for them a data visualization that presented their research in a clear and concise way.
Their research looked at states competitiveness in the U.S presidential, senatorial and gubernatorial elections between the years of 1990 - 2016. I used color and pattern to show levels of competitiveness and laid out the states from most to least competitive across each election. I then used shape to show trifecta data within the gubernatorial elections.
They presented this poster and their research at a political science fair at Brigham Young University. They received very positive feedback from viewers and got a high grade on their project.
