Surreal flag representations were created for the various LGBTQI+ communities during Microsoft’s Pride Month celebration. These assets were spread across digital platforms including Skype, Teams, and Edge.
Approach
Collaborating with Microsoft Design, we were asked to reimagine different flag representations for the LGBTQI+ communities. With a more naturalistic composition aimed to symbolize a connected ecosystem, we were able to show while each group is distinct, the sum is greater than its parts.
Results
This project allowed the various LGBTQI+ communities to celebrate and represent themselves through the different digital formats that Microsoft provides. This gave these diverse communities a voice and visual representation in uncharted digital terrains.
