La Vittoria 2013, a unique evening rooted in earthly flavours
Every year, members of the Quebec business community and a team of renowned international chefs come together for La Vittoria, a gastronomic event that benefits various charities.
For its 2013 edition, La Vittoria teamed up with Cuisines collectives of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and Montérégie, a grassroots organization that promotes food autonomy, notably by reintroducing its members to the basics of cooking.
The mandate was to create the visual identity and different communication tools of this gastronomic event.
The challenge was to seduce a target group that is very difficult to mobilize given the great demand on their time and the fact that they are already highly solicited with a strong visual identity to make the 2013 edition an unforgettable evening.
At the center of the evening’s graphic universe was a return to the source. The thoroughly elegant creative paid tribute to the Earth and its flavors throughout the different pieces, recalling its freshness, innocence and elemental state.
The theme also served as a platform from which to celebrate chef Éric Gonzalez and his French roots, now transplanted to Quebec soil, as well as his invited chefs, highlighting their story, origin and inspirations.
Each year, the graphic platform created for La Vittoria is an essential tool for the evening’s founder, as it serves to visually unite the celebrity chefs and the cause. For the 2013 edition, chefs Éric Gonzalez and César Troisgros were at the helm. $120,000 was raised for the cause.
The funds raised will allow Cuisines collectives of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and Montérégie to purchase kitchen equipment, make certain internal changes and lower the price per serving for several dishes that the organization offers to its members and their families.
