For Season 2 of The Exorcist, our goal was to amp up the horror by creating a terrifying piece of art representing the physical and metaphorical experience of demonic possession.
Approach
We set out to create an image that felt familiar enough to be part of The Exorcist brand, but fresh enough to still intrigue and entice viewers.
Results
Avoiding conventional “possession” tropes, we created a shocking image whose darkly disturbing visual aesthetic fully expresses the series’ themes of evil and horror.
