This piece was created along side a printed poster for the 2021 Auburn University Graphic Design Spring Juried Student Show in Auburn, Alabama. The video can be seen when viewed through an augmented reality app called Artivive.

The design is inspired by the grid of squares and straight lines in the cable hanging system of the exhibition at the Gogue Performing Arts Center in Auburn, Alabama. The creative process began with an exploration in grid and structure that supports the student work hanging in the exhibit. The original printed poster was designed to be interactive experience and therefore this animation pairs with the printed poster seamlessly when played on your phone or tablet. The animation is linked to the poster through an augmented reality app called Artivive. Directions for viewing the animation are listed along the edge of the printed poster.

The video was created to be featured next to the exhibit on a TV screen in the lobby of the Gogue Performing Arts Center. It played for guests at the show opening and before the opening to advertise for the show. The printed poster was hung on the wall with the exhibit which allowed viewers to use the Artivive app to experience the animation over the poster as well.
