The bench gains it stability due it‘s unique construction without the need for adhesives. It was designed it in a way, that it can be manufactured from ready-made goods and off-the-shelf parts.
The planed and chamfered timber is cut to length and joined with screws.
The bench can be made form ash, walnut, oak, or any other solid wood.
To increase comfort indoors, an upholstered cushion can be added.
In humid environments such as outdoors, the horizontal beam at the very bottom can be exchanged for a custom made sheet metal piece.
