This assignment was for my Digital Portfolio class to where we were assigned to come up with an idea for a still life and shoot it.
Approach
I made a mood board of still life's that inspired me on Pinterest and finally decided that I wanted to do something with light and a substance. I then decided on using a lightbulb that was on and pouring honey over it. I though the golden light and golden substance would really complement each other.
Results
I shot this project in a dark room with only the light from the lightbulb radiating through the honey. This resulted in the beautiful rippled effect from the honey pour shining through and it created a warm high contrast composition overall.
