Last year, I somehow found myself being inspired by flowers and I wanted to experiment with their colours, textures and shapes. I was asking myself how I could give them a form without destroying their delicateness, since I wanted to use real flowers.

I came up with the idea to my florist, which always shows great flower arrangements in her store, and she was curious about the project. After a few days she had made a plan for a construction, and it worked out just fine, so we tried all kinds of different shapes.

The pictures are just like I imagined them, and we tried all kinds of different flower headpieces. I wanted to give this extraordinary photo series a standing of its own, so we named it my seperate "Cappelli" project.
