The students were tasked with creating a single poster or series of posters to promote a symposia and exhibit about brutalist architecture.
Approach
We encouraged the students to explore visual analogies between typography and brutalist architectural structure within the context of contemporary design practice. In this piece, Gabriella mixed GT Flexa bold from Gili Type with Monument Extended from Pangram, Pangram. The secondary type is Neue House Grotesk.
Results
The students learned a lot and produced outstanding results!
