I wanted the design and feel of the plane monitors and mobile app to be something completely unique in the world of airlines. I made the brand clean and simple, but with a pop of color. Overall, I wanted the design of the screens to follow what I already established in the brand, so I used the colors as overlays over images and videos, and I developed iconography based off of the geometric vector style of the logo. Aside from creating a brand that pops, I rethought the way users interact with the content available on airplanes by allowing people to login through Facebook. Content is filtered based on the different things people liked on Facebook, and a feed of content is generated once a user logs in. People are then able to filter content further by specifying the types of things they want to see (i.e. Movies, food, and travel tips), and they can favorite items in case they want to access content later. The mobile app ties into this feature. Users can access the content that they favorited once they are off of the plane and they can get a preview of the content they might see on their next flight.
