The Center for Organ Recovery & Education, or CORE, sought to develop a branding campaign that engages both the public and energize its community of volunteers, healthcare professionals, coroners, and organ, tissue and cornea recipients. The organization tasked Elias/Savion with developing a calendar as part of the campaign as way to tell the CORE story all year long.
We developed the theme “Be a hero. Be an organ donor.” as way to impart the incredible impact just one person can make as an organ, tissue and cornea donor. Our approach was to feature the powerful stories of real lives affected by donation, with a focus on one individual for each month of the year. We conducted in-person interviews and captured vibrant photography to bring each story to life.
The calendar, with its rich detail and compact presentation, became the showpiece of the entire hero campaign. It provided the client with a meaningful form of connection that not only becomes a functional part of its audiences’ lives, but provides longevity for the client’s messaging over the course of 12 months.
