This series developed from my series "Cappelli - Flowerheads". I love the structure, diversity and transience of flowers, nature is so versatile. I came across some portraits of Frida Kahlo, she was the inspiration for this spread.
Approach
I wanted a model with a special and mystical charisma to fit the artistic mood. The headpieces were made by my florist that I also worked with for a range of different flower themed series. Her creations just matched perfectly.
Results
I love everything about this series...with the light, the colours and the expression of the model I was able to create a beautiful series that's unique within my portfolio.
