VIDAK 21/22 (Visual Information Design Association of Korea) International Invitation Exhibition : BOM', held in Seoul, Korea. The theme is the "BOM" (means Spring or Look back in Korean). 1) BOM is Spring in Korean, in the sense of a new start and that is coming. 2) BOM also means looking in Korean, in the sense of looking back at the current era and ourselves ahead of the end of COVID-19.
Approach
After a long winter and two years of pandemic, we might be looking towards a brighter future. Both in the light of a pandemic not controlling our activities, like in the previous years. But also litteraly spring is coming nature starts bloming and hopefully humans look back reflecting the past to bring better and brighter actions in this nearby future. Visualising flourishing and reflecting after a period of pandemic. Holding life together with tape – like band Aids on the wound. And the "eyes" both looking back and forward into the future.
