Non-profit design work created for the Rio Grande Valley Equal Voice Network (RGV EVN) in partnership with the Detention Watch Network and Freedom for Immigrants. The RGV EVN wanted to create a booklet and poster design that advanced the human rights and quality of life for historically marginalized groups in the region. By centering on the voices, experiences, and knowledge of community members, they advance equity and social justice at the regional, local, state and federal levels.

The illustrations shed a light on el viaje (the journey) one goes through and the landscape they encounter in immigrating from Latin America to the United States. The poster compiles all of the images from the booklet into one full color image.
