The goal was to create a bold piece of art that maintained the tone of the film by representing the raw honesty of motherhood while also integrating some humor.
With very limited unit photography, we explored a large range of looks including graphic and surreal approaches. After we landed on the concept of Charlize with stickers covering her face, we incorporated elements from the story into the stickers themselves.
The poster launch was very successful, especially in engaging real-life moms relating to the moment portrayed in the poster.
