Addison was tasked to design this annual report as an extension of BlackRock’s brand identity and as a new format for the annual report focusing more on BlackRock’s “Purpose”.
Using real word examples demonstrating BlackRock’s purpose, Addison approached this annual report with the idea of bold simplicity. Utilizing hits of BlackRock’s bright color palette to help direct the reader’s eye and large typography to instill confidence.
The work resulted in a piece with a strong declarative voice that echoed the brand perfectly and complimented their other publications. The client was thrilled with the results.
