IMAG!NE is all about re-thinking snack foods and re-imaging snack time. Developed to reinvent parent-approved foods into wholesome, convenient and engaging snacks for kids, IMAG!NE helps kids go and grow by nourishing their bodies and minds. IMAG!NE carries two kinds of yogurt crisps: Mixed Berry, and Apple Cinnamon flavor, as well as two kinds of Cheese Stars: White Cheddar, and Parmesan flavor.

Most brands in this category rely on cartoon characters, 3 graphics, or “kid-writing” fonts. IMAG!NE takes a genuinely new approach to snacks by visually expressing our hand-made aesthetic. Our visual language had to quickly communicate tasty and responsible without looking too silly or serious. We wanted to appeal to parents first, but make sure kids enjoyed the packaging too. The IMAG!NE brand carries a playful and spontaneous aesthetic reminiscent of elementary school crafting and creativity.

All the visual elements were built from construction paper and scissors in our office—including a full typeface. The lettering and layouts were all done by hand for the packaging, display cases, website and other brand materials. The branding even extends to the shipping boxes that offer opportunities for kids to let their imaginations run wild and create new worlds out of cardboard.
