This assignment was to create an editorial newsletter in a printed format.
The newsletter is created for the Southern California coastal lifestyle. The audience intended is between the ages of 18-35 for anyone interested in what Southern California and its coast has to offer. Through various forms of experimentation of illustration, photography, and composition, I found this to be the most appropriate way to express how this newsletter should be presented.
What's the Rush? is a subscription based newsletter where its contents are informative for anyone interested in Southern California's lifestyle. For each edition the masthead will change to create a visual identity that is interesting as well as adaptive. The content along with the imagery correlates to the areas that the newsletter is presenting. What's the Rush? not only informs lifestyles, but of people and areas all around. The idea was to make it interesting, fun, cool, and hip.
