Create a poster for an Off-Broadway musical based on a most complicated of plots. FUTURITY is a musical that chronicles the experiences of young Julian Munro, an aspiring inventor and science visionary in 1864. Julian spends his days breaking up Confederate railroad tracks as a grunt in the Union army. He copes with the destruction around him through letters with his brilliant mentor, the famous metaphysician, Ada Lovelace. Together, Julian and Ada devise a steam-powered artificial intelligence machine which they hope will end the war.

In the poster, Studio Usher chose to represent Julian's complex machine as a human brain with a big jumble of elements that represent thought and the imagination as well.

The show was a sold out success and received stellar reviews from print publications such as The New York Times and The Economist (which never reviews theater) as well as radio interviews.
