Pets OK BC is an organization that exists to fight for more pet-friendly rentals around the Canadian province of British Columbia, where prospective renters who have pets are frequently turned away.

The ad's gray, unfriendly background is composed of actual Facebook posts denying renters with pets; all but "NO PETS" has been blurred in each to capture a pet owner's frantic experience of scanning listings for housing that will accept furry friends. In contrast, the house in the center of the ad is a stable, warm haven in which a cat's heart-shaped nose completes the headline: "Pets: Where the Heart Is."

This poster effectively tugs at the heartstrings by riffing on the phrase, "Home is where the heart is," and by using an original illustration to communicate that pets make four walls truly feel like home.
