Poster made for the exhibition-tribute ‘Llorando a Chavela’ (Crying to Chavela), hosted by Casa de América in Madrid, on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of Mexican artist Chavela Vargas.
Approach
The papercut technique was used to shape a tree of life, present in popular Mexican iconography to express the life of the artist.
