The primary task of this course is to design an exhibition design catalog for the critical analysis essay that students were working on. In addition to an exhibition design catalog, the exhibition system includes an exhibition poster, employee badges, tote bags, notebooks, and tickets.

Grid system for graphic designers is like the blueprints for architects, these basic principles are the underlying message from the works that other people may not notice. A piece of unfolded paper with creases became my inspiration, I imagine all the information is hidden in the crease of this paper.

The exhibition catalog is based on critical analysis and research. Through the process of researching, planning, drawing sketches, and container spreads, all parts of this system were designed in a consistent system.

This project transformed my research into a designed object that helps communicate how the grid system has functioned and affected our industry and how we view them today.
