I AM is a personal book project, which I started several years ago while I was living and working in Paris as a professional photographer. Coming from the advertising, beauty and fashion industry I had the feeling that women over the age of 40 were almost not visible and not represented truthfully in the media. The idea was born to capture extraordinary women with no age limit and show them NUDE: ageless, authentic, fearless. Every picture is completed with an intimate, personal statement.
Raw and refined, edgy and elegant. Nude portraits of ageless goddesses who step out of their comfort zone in their own unique personality.

The approach is mainly intuitive, I go with the flow and follow my gut feeling. The goal was to represent each woman in a unique respectful way which represents her the most. Natural ambient light, on location indoor and outdoors, one on one sessions, to create intimacy, allow vulnerability, authenticity and spontaneity and fun. The session were planned without being planned in every detail, contrary to my normal workflow, I always leave space for a new challenge, a new vision, a surprise, a coincidence. I am honoured by the trust, as all those ladies stopped hiding and uncovered their true soulful self. Nude - we allow our unmasked inner being shine through. Unapologetic.

121 women, 121 personal texts, from 40 to 99, diversity of age, shapes, ethnicities. I AM - celebrates and empowers the mature woman. The I AM book will be published in 2019. It represents a visual tribute to empower women in their inner and outer beauty, giving them a voice and venue to celebrate their ageless un-retouched beauty. The I AM project has become a historical document of us the 21st century woman. With its powerful liberated portraits, opening a way to more self-acceptance also for future generations.
