I chose a place that I like and created a sequential illustration about the imaginary story that might have happened in the setting.
Approach
I visited Norton Simon Museum and took reference photos from various angles. I referenced real artworks at the museum and imagined a story about a statue falling in love with a painting. Then I created sequential illustration based on the story.
Results
The small details and humor of the piece make it more fun to look at. The sequential images make viewers guess what is happening in the illustration. Also, limited colors and scale make the image read more clearly.
