The goal of this project was to create a letterform mark for Laguna Builders, a pool-building business.
Approach
The creation of this logo first began with wordlisting and then type specimens, studying the letterforms and focusing on shapes and negative space. After sketching out thumbnails, the next step was working on digital roughs and refining them. After the logo was finalized, a color palette was chosen.
Results
The lettermark is successful due to the uppercase L formed by combining the visual elements of a pool ladder and water.
