- Title
- Designscapes Policy Forum: Design and Public Policy, a two way street.
- Main Contributor
- César Martínez Burgos, Art Director.
Assignment
The main idea of this graphic project was to represent how the public and private sectors can benefit from the incorporation of design in production processes and the creation of urban public policies.
It was about creating a powerful and geometric visual identity that, distanced from formal orthodoxy, was committed to transmitting a contemporary and dynamic visual language, with vibrant and luminous colors typical of the digital universe.
Approach
We created a disruptive graphic universe, through a "multi-glyph" typeface, as a way of representing the diversity of creative solutions that design provides for the problems we encounter in today's cities.
This was the key to creating all the printed material, but above all for the development of the dynamic and unique microsite that announced the event.
Results
During the celebration of the first Policy Forum in Valencia city, there was a clear political and academic will to incorporate design in all its forms within the production process as an essential element.
The image of the campaign had a great impact on the media and was very well received by attendees (international speakers, designers, policy makers and European academic experts)
