Sunrun, an innovator in residential solar, came to us in late 2014 to build awareness and consideration of their brand in the highly competitive residential solar space. Previous work had been more focused on selling the category vs. Sunrun specifically. The work needed to work harder.
Through a campaign platform called “Neighbors”, we introduced two characters that dispelled the myths of solar energy and demonstrated that going solar with Sunrun was simply a no-brainer. Equally as important, it gave Sunrun a trusted, honest and accessible voice in a category where trust and confusion is a key barrier.
In markets where we ran advertising we saw a lift of top of funnel leads, search volume and awareness.
