CycleOps offers best-in-class cycling trainers and a cutting-edge virtual training environment—surrounding cyclists with solid, realistic indoor training options when time, weather and traffic keep them from riding outside. As we redesigned CycleOps' website, it was our job to communicate this message to consumers and encourage them to "bring their rides inside."
We imagined photography that would demonstrate how "true to the road" the experience of using a CycleOps trainer can be, as well as highlight CycleOps' VirtualTraining app (which allows cyclists to ride routes all over the world virtually).
We partnered with Alter Images to make this vision real. Alter combined outdoor cues with the indoor riding experience, layering multiple original and stock images to create one seamless environment.
The results are a series of three inspiring images. We feel they communicate how realistically CycleOps trainers simulate the real road and remind cyclists that indoor training with CycleOps is the next best thing to riding outside.
The client is thrilled and orders are steadily coming in.
