The assignment for this project was to create an advertisement for a brand extension of my choosing. I decided to work with the energy drink company, Red Bull, to create and advertise their "new" product, coffee.

My approach to this assignment was to create a visual pairing of breakfast foods and the Red Bull coffee itself. Therefore, each advertisement uses a plate of food on the bottom half of the piece with the top of a Red Bull coffee can on the top half. These two pieces form a perfect circle that unites the two as "together". The headline presents the viewer with a question, making them think about the pairing of Red Bull and breakfast. The copy expands on the brand extension that Red Bull is now selling coffee that is meant to go with breakfast.

I was enjoyed the end result of this assignment. I think coffee is a logical extension for the Red Bull brand, and I was happy with the resulting advertisements.
