The assignment of this project is to design a book based on any "-ism" word (idealism, atheism, voyeurism, and so on). Students need to choose visual elements, including typography and images, based on their understanding to deliver this "-ism" word to the audiences.

The word I picked is "voyeurism". When I first heard this word, it reminded me of my favorite game I played in my childhood – Hide & Seek. As a hider, I enjoyed the excitement when seeker searching around me, while as a seeker, I got a sense of achievement when I found someone successfully. You may think such games just belong to kids, but actually, we still played this game in the adults' world and it has a new name called “voyeurism”. Today almost everyone is a “Peeping Tom”: we keep watch on others’ lives through their Facebook and Instagram. Meanwhile, we are also peeped by others: the surveillance system makes us nowhere to hide.

To make the reader to be a real "Peep Tom", I make the cover of the book to be a door with a peephole. If you get close and look through the hole, you can find a girl is changing her clothes. Besides, to connect voyeurism with the game hide-and-seek, meanwhile make it more related to the adults' world, I started this book with several number-shaped body figures, which imitates the process of counting down when we play hide-and-seek, while such naked bodies also have some grownup sensibilities.
