The purpose is to explore the unique expression of printed design and convey its appeal to students.
I first collected and scanned halftone dots from various old books. Old printed dots are very attractive and have a mix of noise in mechanical uniformity. I designed an announcement poster for the exhibition, centering on the objects made by overlapping those dots.
As a result, students familiar with digital design were able to learn about the facial expressions and mechanisms of printed materials.
