The intention behind the Play Everywhere campaign was to communicate that with the Nintendo Switch Lite, you could play wherever you are. In order to visually show that, I used characters from some of the popular games that people play on the device, such as Minecraft, Mario Kart, and Animal Crossing. Each print ad depicts things that people do in the games (camp, drive, fish), as well as in real life. They show that the play does not have to end at home, it can come along with them on their adventures.
I chose strong visual photography that was of places in which people drive, fish, and camp. I made sure that each photo went well with the color and design of the character that corresponded. I chose a strong and bold font that evoked playful and youthful emotions. The headline is short and straight to the point, as the visual powerfully communicates the idea.
The result of this project was very successful, as the benefit of the Nintendo Switch Lite is vividly portrayed in each print ad. The ads are well branded too, as the characters represent Nintendo and are easily recoginizable.
