To convey that Legion is an enormous departure from the current glut of Marvel and DC series, as it is inspired by the X-men franchise. It is an epic story about people who are striving and want to believe in their vision for the world, even as the world tells them they are mad.

The character’s pose conveys that he is struggling with his mind and its infinite, unknown layers and abilities that is difficult to harness and almost impossible to conceal. A special effects shoot allowed us to create this depiction of energy and power that is intense and complex.

The key art is creatively ambitious and unique with the second read of paying homage to the Marvel character Legion.
