Sappi North America's Holiday Kits are a highly anticipated annual gift for high-value customers and prospects that have engaged with the company. This year, Sappi used the holiday gift to feature a brand new line of paperboard packaging products. Additionally, the assignment went one step further -- each element of the kit was designed to be fully reusable or recyclable.
The Sappi Holiday Kit was designed as a "care package" aimed at high-value corporate end users -- decision makers who rely on paper and packaging as an important part of their marketing mix. The holiday kit reinforced Sappi's belief that paper and paper-based products play a key role in brand differentiation and reputation, that paper is still a powerful medium when compared to digital media, and paper is an environmentally sound alternative to plastic.
The experiential theme is "full"-- care-full, thought-full, cheer-full, delight-full and help-full. Each element of this kit embodies these sentiments. The design team successfully married playful, beautiful designs with Sappi's new paperboards and high end coated papers. This creative and thoughtfully crafted gift was delivered to over 10,000 corporate brand owners, creatives and printers to celebrate the holiday season and promote the power of paper, print and packaging.
The limited-edition kit included a shipper box, care package box, gift boxes (apparel, wine, pillow, treat), introduction card, greeting cards (blank cards, picture insert cards), envelopes, paper gift tag ornaments, complimentary paper gift cards, and an outer shipper box. Every piece of the kit was reusable down to the shipper box it was delivered in.
This year’s kit resulted in increased engagement for the Sappi sales team, creating opportunities with new customers as well as a means to introduce new product substrates to existing customers.
