Create a type-mark around an abstract idea and combining that with history to create a unique typographic mark.

Create several thumbnails and roughs exploring the idea of what it means to be a souvenir and all the feelings and emotions behind it. Then spent a lot of time in research studying the 1940's to understand color and design choices. The physical drawing of the letters was a bulk of the time spent on this project, starting and retracing over and over again. Until I was satisfied.

The result was a unique and creative typographic mark for an ambitious and abstract project.
