To create a collection of 46 individual base designs that represent the beverages’ physical characteristics and playful attributes delivered through bold and confident expression, movement, color and texture.
Color trends were a key influencer in this work as we created an eclectic assortment of patterns that express the antithesis of ‘computer generated’, rather many images began as conventional non objective hand crafted paintings, that were then scanned to evolve into mixed media. We leveraged rich jewel tones and a vast assortment of images that depict liquid movement, with depth and character to compliment and contrast the sleek elegance of diet Coke’s core silver color. The packaging effort took advantage of an innovative variable data algorithm for HP Indigo printing presses which can create millions of unique label variations from a single piece of original art.
