The Tersa Sphinx moth was selected to base the concept for this hard cider brand. The moth has a distinctly attractive and angular body shape that inspired the design of the label.
The name Sphinx was chosen because of its connotation to mystery and the exotic and is designed to appeal to women ages 19 to 25.
An opaque white bottle gives the cider a sense of anonymity, while placing emphasis on the label where bright vivid colours are applied for rich contrast. Inspiration for design decisions was taken from the elegant Art Deco period.
