The original design of Edy’s ice cream had a photograph of real ice cream. I wanted to give Edy’s a new concept through a new packaging design.
Instead of expressing the ice cream itself, I wanted to express emotions of happiness, joy, and pleasure to convey a bright and positive mood to consumers when they eat Edy’s ice cream. I drew illustrations and write words related to happiness and ice cream. And I used vintage pink, blue, and green, inspired by primary colors of Riso print to make the design more interesting.
