I was tasked with putting a modern twist on the book cover of Jack London's classic novel White Fang.
Approach
Every other cover for this book focused on an image of a lone wolf standing on a cliff but I chose to dive deeper into the underlying messages addressed by London.
Results
I reflected the underlying animistic nature of society in my cover imagery by using a strong resting image and clean modern typography. Using red I was able to push the idea of danger and a fear that is lurking inside us all.
