For this project I design a 12 page concept magazine with it containing a cover, table of contents, 2 feature spreads that each of them would have a continuing spread and to have an ad as the last page for the magazine.
Approach
Some of the creative process I did were create the title of the magazine. I explored different type of fonts for the banner and positions on where to place the banner. As well as did image search for the image used on the cover. For the feature spreads I did a word list that related to the article and did sketches right after to come up with different layout ideas. I then did a couple of tight roughs for them. I had used indesign for the main program to create the magazine but I also used photoshop to edit the images used in the magazine.
Results
The reaction that I got from my professor was that he really liked the way the magazine came out. Some of the stand out features that he like were the table of contents that I created and "The Explosion of Golf" opening spread. Also the continuing spread for the "Sole'd Out" feature spread.
